Olivia prepared some recipes for you to surprise your family & friends with this Eid.

Lets start off with the Roasted Beetroot Hummus, if you’re not a beetroot or a Hummus fan then skip all the way to the Cheese Stuffed Dates at the end of the blog.

Roasted Beetroot Hummus

Here’s what you will need for this recipe:

2 roasted beetroots
430g chickpeas
1/2 lemon
2 cloves garlic
2-3 tbsp olive oil
2-3 tbsp tahini
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cumin

Roasted Beetroot Hummus

To add more flavor and garnish you will need some zaatar, sesame & more olive oil! Don’t forget to prepare your carrots, celery & bell pepper sticks so you can dip in the joy of this colorful Hummus.

Find out how it’s made through the latest video on our Instagram account @hellochefme.

Cheese Stuffed Dates

This one will only take you 10 minutes to prepare and it sure does give those delicious Medjool Dates a cheesy twist. All you will need is Medjool Dates (or anyother type you prefer) and Brie or Blue Cheese.

Slice the date half-open, remove the seed, add a cube of cheese. Repeat the same process for as many dates as you want and TA-DA…you’re done!
