Packed to go, as a snack or dessert, even as a meal. With fruits, options are endless. Check out how we like to eat these nature’s bounties (in large amounts, obviously!)

Basic

On everyday basis, we usually pick three different colour fruits, wash them, peel them, and cut them to bite size cubes. This kind of basic fruit salad is the best snack for the whole family.

Combinations that we like:

*Watermelon, kiwi, blueberries

*Pineapple, apple, strawberry

*Mango, dragonfruit, raspberry

*Orange, purple grapes, banana

*Nectarine, honeydew, green grapes

Fancy

When we prefer not to keep things simple, we include a couple of more ingredients in our fruit salad, and present it in a fancy fashion. The easiest way to put a smile on everyone’s faces is a bowl full of exotic fruits – bowl being a carved watermelon, pineapple, dragonfruit or papaya. A couple of umbrellas as decoration will make kids even happier.

Pimped

Fruit salad can be a lot of things. Sometimes we practically live on fruits, from morning to evening,

*Breakfast – with yogurt, nuts, seeds, chia pudding, or overnight oats

*Dessert – with crushed meringues, honey or maple syrup, apple or strawberry sauce, caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or whipped coconut cream

*Light savoury meal – with cherry tomatoes, thin carrot strips, baby spinach or other leafy greens, peas, feta, brie or mozzarella
