Welcome back to our monthly ingredient series! Last month, we brought your attention to the humble cauliflower and all of its various uses – from a low-carb rice alternative to the indulgent and ever-classic baked cauli cheese. This month, it’s spinach in the spotlight – and we’re rounding up a host of easy spinach recipes that will make you stronger than Popeye in no time at all.
Packed with minerals and antioxidants, this leafy veg is a regular staple in our meal kit recipes. With a high iron content, plenty of magnesium and a number of anti-inflammatory nutrients, there are so many reasons to make sure spinach is included in your weekly menu. Though said to be at its best between March and June, spinach is available all year round. You may know it in this part of the world as palak – the Hindi term for spinach.
