Who are we?

Hello Chef is a Dubai-based meal-kit service, delivering chef-curated recipes and pre-portioned, fresh ingredients to thousands of customers across the UAE every week. In a bid to simplify home-cooking, Hello Chef prides itself on being a high-quality service that provides convenient, varied and healthy meals – enabling customers to live life to the fullest. Our home delivery service allows customers to spend less time meal planning and grocery shopping, and more time appreciating the true value of enjoying delicious food with loved ones.

Who is on our team?

The Hello Chef team comprises diverse, bright and motivated individuals who are prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure the best possible service for our customers. From technology, marketing and product development teams to operational staff, we are invested in hiring the best people to deliver a magical home-cooking experience. Since the company began operating, the team has grown exponentially – from just 2 people in 2016 to more than 45 in 2020, spanning 15 nationalities.

What is our story?

Our founder, Olivia Manner, is a self-confessed foodie. Happiest when cooking, eating and entertaining loved ones with her delicious recipes, she wanted to find a way to extend this passion for food to her local community. Admiring meal-kit concepts taking shape in Europe, she began to prepare and pack her own recipe boxes here in Dubai and deliver them to a small group of friends. It wasn’t long before the demand grew for a much higher volume of recipes. From there, Hello Chef was born.

What makes us awesome?

Our team is made up of independent individuals who constantly seek to add value to the product and our customers, no matter what it takes. We’re incredibly passionate about what we do and have set aggressive goals for our future growth. We believe in continual improvement as a business, and this involves us constantly testing and trialling new hypotheses to build on and learn from. This applies across the company, and means that we’re okay with employees trying something innovative and ambitious, only for it not to work out. What are the benefits of working for Hello Chef?

Hello Chef employees are provided with all the necessary information and documentation to ensure a smooth transition into their new role. This includes relocation assistance (if necessary), in addition to a UAE visa, medical insurance, an annual return flight home and 22 days holiday per year.
