You may recognise some of the menu choices in your upcoming Hello Chef boxes this month…

That’s because every July, we dedicate the entire month to rounding up the top rated recipes from the last year – as voted for by you!

Looking back over the rating charts across the last 12 months has reminded us just how far our recipe development has come – and much of that is down to you, our valued customers. Your weekly feedback means that we continually strive to improve and enhance our menus to ensure the best possible dishes are delivered to your door.

Here are just some of the favourites to watch out for this month…

Weekly menu: 2 July – 8 July 

Baked honey and garlic salmon with carrots and rice

The whole family is sure to love this sweet yet spicy salmon dish with a subtle Asian twist. A gluten- and dairy-free option ready in just 30 minutes, it’s not one to be missed. Be sure to order it this week!

Cheesy bean and mushroom chilli with quinoa

This chunky chilli is packed full of flavour and oozes indulgence with its generous helping of not one, but two types of cheese! One of our favourite veggie dishes to date, it came as no surprise to see this dish make the top rated recipes. Enjoy it again this month!

Blackened cajun salmon with sweet potato mash and cucumber salsa

This smoky cajun dish is ready in just 25 minutes, and pairs a spicy salmon fillet with an ultra-refreshing cucumber salad to create the perfect flavour combination. Add plenty of red chilli for that extra kick!

Chickpea pasanda curry with brown rice

This flavourful vegan dish is comfort food at its best. A richy, nutty gravy scattered with protein-packed chickpeas make for a gorgeous veggie take on the traditional Indian pasanda. Be sure to add it to your weekly menu this month!

Jerk chicken with pineapple and ‘peas ‘n’ rice’

Staying in the UAE this summer? Then why not bring the taste of the Caribbean to your home kitchen with this delicious jerk chicken recipe? The marinade can be added up to 48 hours prior to cooking for that added spice and thyminess!

Swap pasta sheets for flavour-packed slices of eggplant in this indulgent veggie lasagna. Though estimated to take an hour to make, be patient – it’s certainly worth the wait! Add it to your weekly menu this month for a gorgeous, comforting dinner.

Creamy Tuscan salmon with green beans

Another vote for team salmon! This super simple dish is one of our favourite go-to recipes. Top salmon fillets with a creamy, herby sauce and finish with blistered garlic tomatoes for a delicious, low-carb dinner. Order now, you won’t be disappointed!

Aka, melanzane alla parmigiana, or parmesan aubergine. Another veggie alternative to lasagna, get stuck into layers of slow-cooked aubergine and mop up the leftover sauce with slices of homemade garlic bread – comfort food at its best!
