Following the exciting news that customisable recipes are now available on the Hello Chef menu, here’s a round-up of the dishes (and their alternatives) that you can expect to see over the coming weeks. 

What are customisable recipes? 

Put simply, our customisable recipes allow Hello Chef customers to swap a protein or carb for an alternative. This might be a swap from chicken to prawns, or cauliflower rice to regular rice. We hope this will allow customers to have more flexibility in their meal choices and increased variety on a weekly basis. Remember, you can make a swap to your recipe at no extra cost!

Weekly Menu: 1 September – 7 September

Chicken Pad Thai with Snow Peas and Roasted Peanuts
Customise to: Prawn Pad Thai with Snow Peas and Roasted Peanuts

Choose your protein and enjoy either chicken or prawn in this quick and easy stir-fry dish. Packed with sweet and tangy flavours, this popular street food is an ode to Thailand’s cuisine: simple to prepare, yet utterly delicious. 

Chicken Tikka Masala with Cucumber Salad
Customise to: Paneer Tikka Masala with Cucumber Salad

Fancy a meat-free version of this fakeaway favourite? Now, swap between chicken or paneer in just one click.

Chilli Chicken Stir Fry and Jasmine Rice

Soy Glazed Chicken with Asian Slaw and Sushi Rice

This Japanese inspired dish has the perfect mix of sweet and savoury and an umami-rich, Japanese-style glaze. If you’d prefer a meat-free version, simply swap to our vegetarian alternative – soy glazed eggplant!

Seabass and Cauliflower Puree with Green Beans and Garlic Butter

While this one is simple to prepare, it’s bound to impress! Choose between our low-carb, cauliflower puree version, or the more traditional mash potato option. 

Thai Green Curry with Chicken and Jasmine Rice
